Welcome to our virtual world!

Let's start with our brand name, Ramandalicious. Many people try to come up with a different way to pronounce it or even try to come up with what it means. We can tell you that it's nothing other than our two first names Ramón & Amanda and the word delicious jumbled up together. Hope that solves the conundrum. 

Ramandalicious initially started as a blog back in 2010 where we used to share our recipes just after we had moved to the UK back in 2009. Eventually, we added our Facebook page in May 2011 where we started sharing pictures of our food, recipes, articles about food and food-related stories that we brought with us on our travels all over the world.

We've both always been foodies and always loved trying different cuisines and food. I Myself, Ramón have been cooking since my mother taught me from a very young age and was always intrigued by different recipes that my mother used to make for us, some of which I still cook for us to this day. I'd like to say that I'm self-taught and no cooking or baking challenge is too big for me be it slow-cooked meat for tacos, cakes, cupcakes, Maltese traditional food, gluten-free food...anything.

So after many comments from friends and family that we should do this as a business, we finally gave in and launched our small independent business as a side hustle in April 2022. In May 2025, we took the plunge and launched our business full time.

Originally we started with the intention of being a local business that delivers around our local area, Grimsby & Cleethorpes within North East Lincolnshire. However, thanks to our lovely customers and Maltese ex-pats like ourselves all around the UK, we ended up investing logistically so we can send our products including our very famous frozen pastizzi all over the UK! 

So, whether you live in Portsmouth in the southern part of Britain, a tiny village in the Scottish Highlands west of Inverness, Northern Ireland or the Channel Isles (Guernsey or Jersey) we can supply you with your authentic Maltese food fix.

We cater for all kinds of functions - weddings, parties, Maltese get-togethers, wakes, baptisms....any celebration you can think of, we can certainly add a special and personal Maltese touch to it. 

We can proudly say that we have also catered for a diplomatic function at the Maltese High Commission in London. Surely our highest honour is when we met HE The President of Malta Mrs Myriam Spiteri Debono and HE The Maltese High Commissioner in the UK Dr Stephen Montefort at a reception also Maltese High Commission in London where we presented them with some of our products and merchandise.
