Peperecha is a type of very traditional pan dulce (Sweet bread/pastry) from El Salvador. It is sweet and delicious, and also very visually striking due to the coloured sugar sprinkled on top. It is filled with Panela/Piloncillo (Dark Unrefined Sugar).
It is usually shared with the family with a coffee or as a snack.
