Horse meat stew is yet another popular dish in Malta. Horse meat is very lean, high in iron content and rich in Vitamin B. The stew is slow cooked in a tomato, Lacto milk stout & red wine based sauce for hours. We then encase the stew in our homemade shortcrust pastry.
